Why Become a Member or Donate to PowPAC?

You can help keep performing arts alive and vibrant by supporting Poway Performing Arts Company (PowPAC), Poway’s Community Theatre. PowPAC is a non-profit organization supported by the generous contributions of time and money by its members and volunteers. We invite you to share in our theatre’s spirit by joining and maintaining a PowPAC membership. Your dues financially support keeping the lights on (literally) and are an important part of our operating budget. In becoming a member of PowPAC, you will contribute to the cultural vitality of Poway and surrounding communities, and help spread the art of live theater in our region.

Membership Benefits

As a Member, your name will be posted on a monitor in the lobby throughout the season. You will receive special updates, including our annual President’s message and financial statement, and you will be invited to Members Only Events. Members are eligible to serve on PowPAC’s Board of Directors and Management Team. If you join at the Silver level or above you will be entitled to a business card-size advertisement in our regular season programs for the entire season. Your donation is also tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our theater.

Without volunteers donating their time, we could not offer high quality theater to this community. If you like to organize things, work with people, or just want to be part of your local community theater, we need you! No experience is necessary – just show up with a great attitude and ready to help put on a show!

All of the theatre’s administrative tasks, plus almost all of the work to stage our shows, are performed by people who donate their time. From seamstresses to actors to board members, we only succeed because of the talent and labor of volunteers.

You don’t have to be trained in theater to join the PowPAC family. If you can paint the walls in your living room, sew a shirt or put up a poster, you can help. And you will be guided by experienced volunteers.

• Ticket Desk

Currently, our greatest needs are volunteers to check in patrons and hospitality, including serving refreshments. But we are always looking for new recruits in every category because the more the merrier!
