Celebrating 45 Years!
PowPAC, the Poway Performing Arts Company, is Poway’s only Community Theatre, established in 1981 with its home theatre in the center of Poway, at the Lively Center on Poway Road. The company is an independent volunteer-run not for profit 501c3 registered charity with no affiliation or support from any external body.
Our mission is to create theatrical experiences of the highest standards within the community theatre environment; to produce and present works ensuring diverse and balanced programming; to provide an environment for the growth and education of the artist, the audience and the community at large; to expand our audiences; to engage our audiences; and above all else, to entertain our audiences.

The Board and management of POWPAC welcome and encourage offers of help and participation in all aspects of POWPAC’s activities. Opportunities exist to help with productions in a front-of-house, backstage and technical capacity. Experienced POWPAC staff are available to offer training and mentoring in theatrical skills.
