Cast Requirements:
The play has 4 men and 1 female:

Mrs. McGee is middle-aged, garrulous and affected.
Major Powel is middle-aged, portly and Irish.
Evelyn Farrant, a down on his luck actor who once played on all the great stages of Europe.
Rupert Farrant, a suave, sophisticated and very rich business man.
He is also ruthless and the identical twin to Evelyn Farrant.
Hawkins: a police constable.
(The audience is not aware that Evelyn and Rupert are being played by the same actor.)

The time is 1936 and takes place in London. One half of the stage is a rundown basement flat in Soho London. The other half is an elegant and tasteful flat reflecting wealth and refined taste.
Plot Synopsis:
Corpse! tells the story of twin brothers one of whom plots to murder the other in the most unusual circumstances. As with most fool proof plans, things do not go as they should and people are not what they seem. Corpse! is not so much a whodunit as a whodunit to whom!
