Plot Synopsis:
Synopsis: Sara Hastings is an unmarried lawyer in her mid-30s, much too busy to get involved in any romance. Her Aunt Martha has decided to take matters into her own hands and find Sara a husband. Unfortunately, Aunt Martha’s methods include having the prospective groom, Brandon Cates (a young man who handles Aunt Martha’s finances) bopped on the head and dragged, unconscious, to Sara’s apartment. The fact that Brandon is already engaged to Heather does not deter Aunt Martha. After being bopped on the head a few times, suffering temporary memory loss and undergoing several instances of mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and a confrontation with a very angry fiancée, Brandon comes to realize that Sara is really the girl for him.
The play takes place in Sara’s upper East Side New York apartment and is set in present day.
